Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting for a Food FMCG Night Shift Production Manager to lead a high-volume overnight operation, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery of the production plan.
You will coach Team Leaders, drive OEE improvements, manage KPIs, and collaborate with Technical, Engineering and Planning teams to maximise equipment and labour utilisation while maintaining HACCP, GMP and health and safety standards.
You must be exerienced in and provide leadership across a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and consistent delivery of the production plan. The Prodeuction Manager will lead the night shift to achieve demanding output, quality, service and cost targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, HACCP, GMP, hygiene and health and safety.
Work closely with Technical, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse and other departments to maintain production continuity and maximise equipment and labour utilisation.
Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and production colleagues and ensure clear communication of production priorities, targets and standards.
Production Manager will manage key FMCG manufacturing KPIs including OEE, output, yield, waste, downtime, labour efficiency and right-first-time performance, taking immediate action to address losses and performance gaps.
Support with recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning while developing Team Leaders and creating a strong pipeline of future manufacturing talent.
Drive Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement across the night shift, using production data, root cause analysis and Lean/OPEX methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, downtime and process inefficiencies.
Production Manager will maintain audit readiness and ensure SOPs, work instructions, 5S, process standards and autonomous maintenance practices are consistently followed. Lead improvement projects that increase productivity, reduce waste and costs, improve OEE and quality, strengthen food safety and enhance customer satisfaction, ensuring improvements are embedded and sustained across the FMCG operation.
