The Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of the production facility, ensuring that all processes run efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the rotational moulding production team to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Optimise moulding processes to improve cycle times, reduce waste, and enhance product consistency.
• Oversee mould maintenance and tooling, ensuring correct set-up, upkeep, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures, ensuring all products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for rotational moulding and associated processes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safe working practices.
• Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to support product development and new tooling integration.
• Manage raw material procurement and stock control, ensuring optimal inventory levels for smooth production flow.
• Train and develop staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Ability to analyse production data and implement efficiency improvements.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
