Major Recruitment is currently recruiting for an exciting Product Manager opportunity with a well-established organisation. You will take ownership of product ranges and supplier relationships, helping to drive revenue and profitability across multiple sales channels.

We’re looking for someone with experience in Product Management, Buying, Category Management or Procurement, strong supplier management and negotiation skills, and a track record of sourcing from manufacturers and major brands.

• Experience buying from manufacturers and/or major brands.
• Excellent commercial awareness and profitability understanding.
• Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing, rebates, targets and commercial agreements.
• Source and launch new products.
• Develop private-label ranges with UK and international suppliers.
• Manage the product lifecycle, including range rationalisation.

• Collaborate with Purchasing, Marketing, Inventory and Compliance.
• Support category plans and identify new opportunities.

Hybrid: 3 days office-based per week

We’re looking for a commercially minded Product Manager, Buyer or Category Manager with strong experience in supplier management, negotiation, product ranges and sourcing.

The Role

You will take ownership of product ranges and supplier relationships, helping to drive revenue and profitability across multiple sales channels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing product ranges.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Negotiating pricing, rebates, targets and commercial agreements.
• Sourcing and launching new products.
• Developing private-label ranges with UK and international suppliers.
• Managing the product lifecycle, including range rationalisation.
• Monitoring supplier performance and resolving commercial issues.
• Working closely with Purchasing, Marketing, Inventory and Compliance.
• Supporting category plans and identifying new commercial opportunities.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:
