Omega is seeking an experienced Product Manager in Chesterfield to own and grow a key product portfolio. You will shape strategy, launch new products, and work closely withSales, Technical, Marketing and Leadership teams to deliver innovative solutions.

With a technical or engineering background, you will analyse market demand, drive profitability, and ensure customer value while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of mechanical products, valves, fittings, or fluid control.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Working closely with Sales, Technical, Marketing, and Leadership teams, you will play a pivotal role in shaping product strategy, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring customers receive innovative, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities - Product Manager
  • Own and develop the product portfolio, driving growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Create and deliver product strategies and roadmaps aligned to customer and business requirements.
  • Lead new product launches, ensuring successful introduction to the market.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Marketing teams to maximise product performance and customer value.
  • Act as the product specialist, providing technical and commercial support to customers and colleagues.
  • Develop and deliver product training to improve product knowledge across the business.
  • Support continuous improvement by driving product enhancements and resolving product-related issues.
  • Ensure products comply with relevant industry standards and specifications.
Skills & Experience - Product Manager
  • Experience in Product Management, Technical Sales, Product Engineering, or a similar role within an engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical products, valves, fittings, fluid control, or related technologies.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing product performance and market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical or engineering background, supported by practical project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and business systems such as ERP or CRM platforms.
