Production Manager with IOSH

Kinetic Recruitment is seeking a Production Manager with IOSH certification who thrives in a varied role. Based in Tameside, this well-established manufacturer requires a candidate with diverse skills to support the company's operations.

The successful candidate will report directly to and support the Managing Director, coordinating daily factory activities and ensuring full compliance. Responsibilities include:

1. Forecasting, reordering, and resourcing materials
2. Overseeing induction and training of new production staff, maintaining training matrices
3. Managing Health and Safety across all departments
4. Planning and conducting internal and external audits
5. Performing regular checks, assessments, and audits
6. Driving quality standards and monitoring controls to minimize issues
7. Supporting daily production operations hands-on
8. Managing servicing and maintenance of equipment

Qualifications and skills required:

• Experience in health and safety, preferably with IBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management
• Highly organized with strong administrative and communication skills
• Previous supervisory experience in a production environment
• Ability to work closely with the Managing Director
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy

This role offers:

• Salary from £40,000 per annum
• Working hours: 0800 - 1630, Monday to Friday
• Permanent position from day one
