Role Overview

As a Production Manager, you'll collaborate with the General Manager to maintain production priorities and oversee daily factory operations. Lead by example to ensure high standards in output, safety, quality, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor operatives for quality and productivity.

• Support production planning and prepare materials for installations.

• Manage the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Write Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Inspection Test Plans.

• Maintain training records and ensure certification coverage.

• Liaise with suppliers and check invoices for discrepancies.

• Order workshop essentials and calculate materials for coating.

• Oversee machinery and vehicle maintenance.

• Coordinate apprentice progress with training providers.

• Ensure workshop safety compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in a welding/fabrication environment.

• Strong leadership and improvement skills.

• Good knowledge of health and safety.

• Proficient IT skills.

• Competitive salary based on experience.

• Flexible working hours: 41 hours/week (Mon-Thurs 7:30 am-5:30 pm, Fri 7:30 am-12:30 pm).
