Job summary

Proman in the East Yorkshire region is seeking an experienced Production Manager or Senior Production Supervisor to lead production operations and drive performance. The role focuses on planning, labour management, quality, health & safety and continuous improvement within a hands-on leadership framework.

You will work closely with senior management to deliver against production schedules, develop the team, and ensure a proactive approach to safety and quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Senior Production Supervisor
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing/production environments
• Strong production planning and resource management experience
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to drive performance while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proactive, hands-on management style
• Experience supporting employee development and continuous improvement initiatives

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the availability of materials, equipment and resources required for production
• Managing attendance, performance and employee development
• Supporting training and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining high standards of quality, health & safety and operational compliance
• Producing operational updates and reporting progress to senior management
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure production objectives are achieved

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Senior Production Supervisor experience
• Experience leading teams within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong production planning and resource management experience
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to drive performance whilst maintaining quality and safety standards
• Strong communication and leadership skills
