Job summary

Finnebrogue is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join the production team in Downpatrick. You will operate Proseal, Flowrap, and Vemag machines, with on-the-job training from day one and progression to band level 2 after completion of training.

Day shift 6:45am-5:00pm and night shift 6:00pm-5:00am, five days a week, with pay bands ranging £13.23-£15.58 depending on machine and training level. The role requires good English and teamwork; previous food environment experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be ready to complete on-the-job training and assessments.
• Good communication skills, including English reading, writing and numerical.

Responsibilities

• Operate a production machine in the production hall.
• Ensure products are sealed or dispensed per machine and maintain quality standards.
• Assist with quality checks and report issues to supervision.
