Job summary

DS Smith in Blunham is seeking 7 Machine Operatives for a temporary to permanent position. The role involves operating and tending machines, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.

The site is located at South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH, with 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be physically capable of long periods on foot, and have basic English and Maths;

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Managing the setting and running of machinery.
• Quality checking product.
• Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
• Complete duties as requested by the shift manager.
