Job summary

Johnson Matthey Royston is seeking a Logistics Operator to join our team. You will operate forklifts safely, move materials to production areas and manage stock levels across IT systems used by Stores.

You will also handle receipt, storage and issue of production consumables, and prepare shipments with accurate transport documentation, including waste transfer records. A GCSE in Maths and English plus a forklift counterbalance license are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English (A-C) or equivalent.
• Forklift truck license (counterbalance)
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Operate all mobile plant and equipment safely (Counterbalance, Reach and Articulated forklifts).
• Deliver material internally to production areas.
• Maintain stock levels on IT systems used by Stores.
• Receive, store and issue production consumables from Stores.
• Prepare and check OSP/OSR shipments including transport documents and verify waste transfer docs.
