Production Line Leader

£14.32p/h (Basic) + overtime + Training & Development + Holiday + Progression

Location: Bilsthorpe - Newark, Nottinghamshire (Commutable from: Newark, Bilsthorpe, Coddington, Winthorpe, Farndon, Kelham)

In this role, you will lead a team and support Production Supervisors & Managers in the day-to-day operation of a busy production line to ensure smooth and efficient factory floor performance.

The Role:

• Supervising a team on a busy production line
• Ensuring daily start-up checks are completed, machines are set up and ready at shift start, and maintaining production by monitoring & reporting line speed, progress, and downtime
• Working towards the plan provided by the Planning Manager to maximize performance and minimize downtime
• Monitoring line speed and KPIs, conducting quality checks, and training production operatives
• Ensuring adherence to company procedures and proper documentation, recording results, and supporting continuous improvement

The Person:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a production environment as a Line Supervisor / Line Leader
• Good communication skills, problem-solving ability, and team leadership
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail
• Interest in ongoing training and development within a passionate company
