Job summary

Future Products Ltd. in Mansfield is seeking a Manufacturing Production Line Manager to lead the production team on the shop floor, ensuring safe, efficient operations and delivery of targets. The role focuses on policy implementation, performance management, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will drive health and safety, coordinate priorities across shifts, report to the production director, and push for cost reductions while maintaining quality and first-time-right delivery.

• Developing and implementing production policies and procedures.
• Delegating manufacturing tasks to ensure the team meets production deadlines.
• Managing the efforts of manufacturing workers on the production floor.
• Communicating expectations to production workers and appraising their performance.
• Educating production team members about health and safety practices.
• Establishing priorities to ensure the manufacturing team works efficiently.
• Addressing production problems as they arise.
• Reporting on team performance to the production director.
• Making recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Liaising with quality manager to ensure first-time-right products.
