Job summary

You will drive improvements on the line, coordinate with planning, stores, maintenance and quality control to sustain efficient operations, and uphold GMP standards. This role supports Orthopaedics manufacturing under DePuy Synthes during a standalone separation process.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) numeracy and literacy.
• Hands-on experience working under GMP conditions to ensure compliant production.
• Develop working relationships and proactive communication with planning, stores, maintenance and quality control teams to maximize safety, quality and efficiency.
• Understands cycle time and escalates when deviations occur.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ensures that subordinates follow Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for GMP and housekeeping within the work cell.
• Ensure equipment is operated per procedures and standard work.
• Raise non-conformances (NCs) and lead investigations on shift.
• Raise awareness of open NCs within the work cell.
• Challenge non-compliance (H&S, WI, SOPs) and reduce errors on batch records.
• Be responsible for correct PPE use and EH&S conformance.
