Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Nottingham is seeking a Production Line Engineer to join a busy, highly automated facility operating on a 3-shift pattern. You will ensure hourly output targets are met, set up and optimise manufacturing equipment, and respond quickly to breakdowns while driving improvements. A strong engineering background and fault-finding ability are essential for this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Engineering, Maintenance or Mechanical qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in a manufacturing, production, process, FMCG, pharmaceutical or industrial environment.
  • Ability to fault-find and repair mechanical, electrical or pneumatic equipment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to react to breakdowns while managing planned maintenance activities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead troubleshooting activities across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support operational excellence, quality, safety and performance objectives.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver manufacturing targets.

Responsibilities -Production Line Engineer
