Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations at its Harwell/Oxfordshire site. You will build and develop a growing production team, working with Engineering, Quality and Planning to deliver safe, efficient production to high standards.

The role offers a salary up to £55,000, 9:00am-5:30pm, Mon-Fri, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, 9% employer pension, private healthcare, share option scheme, Cycle to Work and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production leadership role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead teams through supervisors or team leaders.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and capacity management.
• Experience driving KPIs, continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Develop production teams and foster a positive, accountable culture.
• Plan resources across people, materials and equipment to meet demand.
• Monitor performance data to drive improvements and optimise processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
