Job summary

Theo James Recruitment is seeking a Production Supervisor in Hartlepool to lead a manufacturing team and ensure targets for output, quality, cost and safety are met.

You will plan resources, manage attendance and training, drive continuous improvement and report on performance across shifts, with flexibility to suit production schedules. Strong leadership and Excel/Word skills are required; IOSH Managing Safely is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong people leadership and communication skills with the ability to problem-solve and influence others.
• Experience in target-driven production environments with a focus on safety, quality and delivery.
• MS Office capability (Excel/Word) is required; IOSH Managing Safely is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for production areas and the team to meet targets.
• Support Safe Systems of Work, training, and PPE compliance, investigating near misses.
• Plan resources, monitor targets, adjust plans across shifts, lead improvement initiatives.
• Monitor labour, overtime and scrap costs; participate in audits and ISO prep.
