Job summary

Jonathan Lee Group is seeking a Production Lead in Wellsbourne, on-site in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. The role blends hands-on work with leadership to build advanced systems and maintain production flow.

You will line-manage technicians, set up BOMs in the MRP system, perform thorough mechanical and electrical assembly including wiring looms and crimping, and conduct inline and end-of-line testing while upholding traceability and KPIs using lean methods.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams.
• Experience with end-of-line testing in electrical/electronic systems.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Familiar with MRP or similar scheduling frameworks.
• Commitment to accurate records and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Line manage a small production team of technicians.
• Set up BOMs and manage production workflows within the MRP system.
• Complete mechanical and electrical assembly, including wiring looms and crimping.
• Carry out inline and end-of-line testing for advanced electrical and electronic systems.
• Maintain precise production records for traceability, performance monitoring, and compliance.
• Set, monitor, and act on KPIs using lean methods to stabilise quality and optimise operations.
