Google Cloud seeks a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customers, bridging frontier AI products with production-grade reality. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions directly within customer environments, acting as an innovator-builder with high agency.

Join Google's Go-To-Market team to tackle blockers to production, shaping the roadmap while delivering white-glove deployment and customer success at scale and leveraging Gemini models and Vertex AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or similar languages.
• Experience taking production-grade AI solutions from conception to launch on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience building data pipelines using vector databases and RAG-like architectures for enterprise AI.
• Experience managing technical discovery sessions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows that drive ROI.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google’s AI products and customers' live infrastructure, including APIs and data silos.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points to create reusable modules or feature requests for Engineering teams.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams to instill Google-grade development best practices for long-term success.
