Job summary

Balmoral Tanks Ltd in Thurnscoe is seeking motivated General Operators to join our factory team. This hands-on role supports production targets, working safely to ensure highest quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will operate grinding tools and lifting machinery, load/unload materials, and collaborate across production and other departments while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Training and personal development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Committed to safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and company procedures at all times.
• Support production schedules to meet targets.
• Operate grinding and lifting equipment as required.
• Load and unload materials and assist general factory operations.
• Inspect goods for quality and conformance to specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Wear PPE and cooperate with colleagues across departments.
• Complete training and contribute to personal development.
• Perform general labouring duties as needed.
