Job summary

Safran seeks a Production Coordinator to oversee day-to-day coordination of the production system from intake through to assembly areas. You will manage production orders, travellers and deliveries, driving efficiency and reducing waste to meet OTD targets.

You will contribute to continuous improvement and maintain standardized work across the cell, while ensuring quality and housekeeping standards. You will work on-site in Pontypool, UK with a need to travel to other SSGB sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ERP systems (M3, BAAN, SAP) and MRP principles.
• GCSE/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Understanding of SSGB product and quality concerns.
• Able to travel to other SSGB sites and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day production requirements and manage production orders and deliveries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and maintain standardized work.
• Ensure production requirements are integrated into the daily production schedule and meet OTD targets.
• Process NCRs and MRB stock cages; communicate daily work coordination to colleagues.
