Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Production Fitter in Tipton to join a dynamic team. You will assemble mechanical components and install hydraulics, ensuring products meet high-quality standards. The role includes in-line inspections during assembly and is suited to candidates with hydraulics experience.

Typical hours are Monday–Thursday 07:30–16:30 and Friday 07:30–12:30, with pay at £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.50 after a successful trial, plus a monthly shop floor bonus.

• Familiarity with air, electrical, and manual tools.
• Forklift truck license is beneficial but not essential.

As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assemble mechanical components for products.
• Install hydraulics and other mechanical systems.
• Conduct in-line inspections during the assembly process.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience with mechanical hydraulics.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with air, electrical, and manual tools.
• Forklift truck license (beneficial but not essential)

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish)

£12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.50 per hour after a successful trial period

Monthly shop floor bonus available when production targets are achieved.
