Job summary

Hot Sauce Pictures in Belfast seeks a finance professional to manage production budgets, cost reporting and month-end close. You will collaborate with producers, production accountants and Sony’s FP&A team to deliver accurate reporting and forecasting.

The role may sit as Finance Manager or Head of Finance, offering broader ownership of audits, FP&A and statutory reporting within a growing in-house finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in production or project-based finance environments.
• Knowledge of UK tax, PAYE, IR35, VAT and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production budgets and track spend against budget.
• Maintain cost reports, cash flows and forecasts.
• Produce monthly management accounts and assist with audit.
• Support FP&A, budgeting, and scenario planning with Sony liaison.
• Lead or support statutory audits and tax credit claims.

Skills
