Job summary

Archangel Lightworks Ltd. is hiring Production Engineers to join our Osney Mead, Oxford team. You will support the serial production, assembly, integration and testing of the TERRA-M Optical Ground Station products and subsystems.

Responsibilities include assembling and testing subsystems, managing parts and inventory, and refining manufacturing workflows. Travel abroad may be required; SOPs and change control will be part of daily work.

Qualifications

5 years of commercial Production/Manufacturing experience.
Experience assembling, integrating and testing systems/subsystems in Mechanical, Electrical or Optical domains.
Able to work independently in a hands-on lab environment with strong troubleshooting.
Willingness to travel abroad.

Responsibilities

Assemble and test subsystems; support system-level integration and testing.
Manufacture and assemble mechanical parts; manage 3D printing and test outsourced components; maintain inventory.
Champion build quality and document processes; refine workflows to minimize downtime and maximize output.
Manage ordering and oversee outsourced components.
Support field deployment and international travel for system installations.
Inspect incoming parts, ensure quality standards.
Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
Manage Engineering Change Requests/Orders where applicable.
