Job summary

Stratasys, a world leader in 3D printing, seeks a Production Engineer for its UK facility in Aylesbury. On-site role reporting to the Senior Production Manager, you will help drive assembly improvements, update design documentation, and coordinate with R&D, Procurement and Quality teams to optimize costs, time, and product quality.

You will create work instructions, refine manufacturing processes, and lead efforts to standardize assembly methods while maintaining rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical engineering experience required.
• 3–5 years of proven production engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings/specifications.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication; proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose production line issues and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement and Quality teams.
• Create assembly work instructions and update technical files.
• Develop plans to improve production and reduce costs/time.
• Draw up production schedules and manage materials.
