Stratasys is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Nottingham to lead manufacturing activities from early design through production readiness and ongoing support. You will develop assembly processes, layouts, BOM structures, labor-balancing plans, and fixtures while collaborating with engineering, operations, supply chain, and suppliers to resolve complex production challenges.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in tech hardware/production environment or 3+ years with advanced degree.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
• Experience with manufacturing process development and continuous improvement.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, supply chain, sourcing, logistics, and supplier teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead manufacturing engineering activities for new product introductions and current products through production readiness.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process, test, reliability, supply chain, sourcing, logistics, and supplier teams to resolve production issues.
• Develop assembly processes, production-line layouts, labor-balancing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and standard procedures.
• Analyze prototype and production data to identify root causes, control limits, and failure modes.
• Design jigs and fixtures using SolidWorks; qualify solutions based on cycle-time improvements or cost savings.
• Drive process improvements to reduce cost, boost throughput, and increase first-pass yield.
• Recommend design or tooling changes to improve manufacturability and reliability.
• Lead Change Orders and represent SAF at Change Control Board meetings.
• Plan production-line setups for new products; assess capital equipment needs; prepare CAPEX requests.
• Develop and qualify supplier standards, processes, and materials; mentor junior staff.
