Carlsberg Britvic is seeking an EHS Manager – Production at the Northampton Brewery to lead Environment, Health & Safety across production functions. You will develop the EHS strategy, ensure compliance with UK laws and ISO standards, and partner with site leaders to reduce risk while embedding a culture of continuous improvement in a busy manufacturing environment.

This role reports to the EHS Production Senior Manager and offers a practical, influential path for an experienced professional

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate with practical EHS leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and developing a diverse team.
• Strong data reporting and stakeholder buy-in.
• In-depth knowledge of UK H&S legislation and risk management.
• Experience implementing and auditing ISO standards (ISO 14001/45001; ISO 9001 desirable).

Responsibilities

• Act as main EHS contact for Environment, Health & Safety at the Northampton Brewery.
• Manage the implementation of EHS strategies, policies, standards and annual improvement plans.
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, safety inspections and internal audits to reduce risk and prevent incidents.
• Ensure full compliance with UK legislation, Group requirements and ISO standards (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001).
• Manage incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions, ensuring root causes are identified and risks reduced.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, inductions and awareness programmes in collaboration with site and training teams.
• Oversee emergency preparedness, testing and site response arrangements.
• Own EHS performance reporting, data accuracy and end‑of‑month submissions to Group.
• Partner with site leadership, contractors and external bodies to continuously improve EHS culture and performance.
