Job summary

Independent Forgings and Alloys Ltd. is recruiting a Production Director to join the Senior Leadership Team at its Sheffield site. You will shape and execute the manufacturing strategy, delivering safety, quality, delivery and cost targets while directing all on-site operations.

You will influence Engineering, Maintenance and HSE, drive Lean and continuous improvement, and lead a high-performing team to maintain competitiveness in a technically advanced forging business.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership at senior manufacturing level.
• Experience delivering operational improvement in complex environments.
• Strong lean, CI and operational excellence knowledge.
• Experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a manufacturing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead Manufacturing activities and influence Engineering, Maintenance and HSE.
• Champion safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across site.
• Improve productivity, OEE, quality and delivery performance.
• Lead capital investment and plant upgrades; drive equipment reliability.
