Job summary

Forged Solutions Group at Darley Dale is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to take ownership of Production and Manufacturing Engineering across the site. This is a genuine leadership role reporting to the Plant Manager and influencing day-to-day and strategic site direction.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level; degree preferred.
• Proven ability to define and deliver an operational strategy.
• Track record of building effective teams and implementing business improvements.
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
• Inspirational leadership with high emotional intelligence.
• Hands-on, positive approach with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective EHS culture across the site.
• Drive Operational Excellence through SQCDP methodology.
• Champion Visual Factory standards.
• Lead and develop a high performing operations team.
• Own quarterly business plans and respond to shifting priorities.
• Coach the team through performance development plans.
• Support site capital expenditure process and inventory control.
