Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Swindon is seeking a Production Department Manager to lead the production team and drive performance across the department. You will provide Environmental Health and Safety leadership to improve processes, equipment, staff training, and KPI alignment with regulatory and corporate requirements.

You will oversee corrective actions from incident reports, champion a quality-first approach and work with Engineering to identify critical equipment and maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in managing production operations and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management principles.
• Proven leadership, decision-making abilities and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive daily departmental performance, including production team management.
