Red Door Recruitment is seeking a Production Coordinator for a reputable company based near St Albans. You will support development, production, and manage the critical path to ensure on-time delivery of goods to a high standard.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in production/manufacturing, strong organisation, and excellent communication. Office-based, Monday–Friday, with free parking and 22 days’ annual leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years background in production/manufacturing.
• Good understanding of the production process, prioritising, planning and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with packaging, print, barcodes and UK retail product systems.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work on own initiative or in a team.

Responsabilités

• Manage communication with suppliers and factories.
• Report into Head of Production.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, QA, Operations & Design teams.
• Liaise daily with factories in the Far East, UK & Europe.
• Manage production deadlines according to a critical path.
• Review and sign off samples, quality checks and pre-production.
• Brief and approve packaging artwork and user manuals.
• Prepare customer documentation for setup and delivery.

You will be responsible for assisting with the development, production and managing the critical path of all lines ensuring goods are shipped and delivered on time to the required standard.

What’s In It For You

• Salary: Up to £35k depending on experience
• Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm – office based
• Free Parking
• 22 days annual leave which rises with length of service

Key Responsibilities

• Manage communication with suppliers and factories.
• Reporting into Head of Production
• Working internally with Account Managers, QA, Operations & Design teams
• Liaising daily with factories in the Far East, UK & Europe
• Managing production deadlines according to a critical path
• Reviewing and user trailing new samples, quality checks and approving pre-production
• Briefing in and signing off packaging artwork and user manuals
• Completing customer documentation to ensure successful setup and delivery of products
