Production Controller - Engineering

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £42,000

In motorsport, the clock is always ticking, and strict deadlines are crucial for suppliers. We are seeking a Production Controller for a precision engineering company supplying parts to the motorsport and automotive industries. As a Production Controller, you will be actively involved on the shop floor, liaising with various departments to ensure smooth production processes.

Role Responsibilities:

• Understanding the process and timings involved in producing a part, from start to finish, including delivery to the customer.
• Interpreting technical diagrams and engineering drawings to determine operational requirements for manufacturing, inspection, and delivery.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work backwards from the delivery date to prioritize urgent jobs and set the production schedule.
• Previous production experience and a keen interest in precision engineering, with a willingness to learn.
