Job summary

The Coffee House in Warrington is hiring Fresh Food Prep Assistants to replace the factory grind with a hands-on kitchen role. You’ll work in our Central Kitchen crafting real food from fresh ingredients and supporting community hubs across the North West.

Responsibilities

• Prepping with passion: slicing, dicing and preparing fresh ingredients for our Cookhouse range.
• Assembly: preparing fresh sandwiches, wraps and snacks at high volume.
• Packing: ensuring items are labelled and ready for store distribution.
• Quality control: checking presentation and freshness of each item.
• Team collaboration: working with bakers and chefs to hit daily goals.
• Safety first: maintaining a clean, organized and safe kitchen environment using digital systems.

Based in our Central Kitchen in Warrington, you’ll be part of a team. Crafting real food, freshly sourced ingredients for our community hubs across the North West.

Shift Times

• 6:00 am - 2:30 pm: The Early Bird
• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm: The Classic
• 8:00 am - 4:30 pm: The Smooth Start
• 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm: The Short & Sweet

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepping with Passion: Slicing, dicing, and preparing fresh ingredients for our Cookhouse range.
• Assembly: You will be preparing fresh sandwiches, wraps and snacks. This is high volume is due to the popularity of our stores.
• Packing: Joining the packing team, ensuring all the teams hard work is packaged, labelled correctly and ready for store.
• Quality Control: Ensuring every sandwich, wrap, salad, or snack looks as good as it tastes.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with our bakers and chefs to hit our daily fresh food goals.
• Safety First: Keeping a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment (using our cool digital systems like iAuditor).
