Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Production Assistant in Poole for an established engineering/manufacturing company. This role offers Monday to Friday shifts, no weekends, and a salary up to £30,000 per year.

You will pack shutdown valves, pick components, perform basic sub-assembly, and drive locally for collections and deliveries, while keeping areas tidy and safe. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in picking, packing or stores work.
• Full UK driving licence and clean
• Methodical and organised with good eye for detail.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to work under pace.

Responsibilities

• Packing shutdown valves securely in bubble wrap ready for dispatch
• Picking order components accurately and at pace
• Carrying out basic sub-assembly of straightforward components

Production Assistant | Poole | Up to £30,000 per annum

No two days look the same: one minute you're picking and packing, the next you're on sub-assembly or out on a local delivery.You'll be trusted to keep orders moving accurately and on time, whatever the task in front of you.This starts as a temp role with a genuine opportunity to move to permanent for the right person.
