Job summary

Search Consultancy is seeking a Production Operative in Crawley to join a busy team. You will prepare and customise appliances to customer specifications, ensuring orders are accurate and ready for use.

The role is Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, on-site, with full-time permanent employment. No prior production experience is required as full training will be given; however, related production or assembly background is a plus.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.
• Previous production or assembly experience would be beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and precise manual skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing products for customer orders.
• Templating and cutting products to size with high accuracy.
• Using computer systems to log work, print orders and check stock.
• Working towards daily and weekly targets.
• Supporting picking and packing and keeping the warehouse tidy.

Production Operative

Location: Crawley

£12.72 per hour + separate holiday pay | Full-time | Permanent | On-site

We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused and motivated individual to join our team as a Production Operative.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and customising appliances to each customer's individual requirements, ensuring orders are accurate and ready to use.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing products for customer orders
• Templating and cutting products to size, requiring very good hand-eye coordination
• Using computer systems to log work, print orders and check stock
• Working towards daily and weekly targets
• Supporting picking and packing when required, as well as helping to keep the warehouse tidy

About You

We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, a positive can-do attitude, and very good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform detailed tasks

No previous experience is required - full training will be provided. However, previous production or assembly experience would be beneficial.
