Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative for a permanent role in Bishops Stortford. The job involves assembly tasks in an engineering environment, with good attention to quality and regulatory processes, plus stock support for production lines.

Salary £27,000–£28,000 per annum, with overtime available. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, on-site car parking. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hand tools and use for electrical and mechanical assembly/production.
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
• Ability to maintain records, adhere to quality and regulatory processes.
• Previous grit blasting / powder coating / similar finishing work experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machine accessories such as baskets, hose connectors and trollies.
• Make sub-assemblies and spare parts including electrical and mechanical products.
• Preparation and media blasting a variety of tanks under controlled conditions.
• Clean and prep tanks, apply transducers prior to oven curing, dismantle jigs to dispatch product to assembly lines, maintenance of machines and general housekeeping of blasting and bonding areas.
• Manufacture finished goods and sub-assemblies for production lines.
• Stock management and kit out assistance when required.
