Job summary

SGS & Co in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, is seeking a Production Artist with Repro skills to join our team. The role requires experience with the Adobe suite and knowledge of Creative, Artwork and Repro for packaging artworks for Branded and Retail accounts.

As part of Propelis, you'll contribute to delivering high-quality artwork within client deadlines, working with Mac-based workflows and various print techniques.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production or repro role.
• Strong knowledge of Apple Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications.
• Good mathematical understanding and budgeting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work under deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Attends any client meetings (e.g. pre-production) as necessary.
• Ensures high quality standards in all production client deliverables.
• Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high quality basic to intermediate or complex level artwork, effectively using industry standard software, tools, and print techniques.
• Performs assigned tasks within the overall Production workflow and assigned budget, according to work order specifications, industry and company SOPs, and the client’s brand guidelines and standards.
• Ensures client project team has most current information about the status of the assigned project(s) by logging and maintaining project plan information into the project tracking system.
• Meets quality standards consistently for all assigned deliverables and makes recommendations to management for improvements in reports, tools, processes and assigned tasks. Additional duties as assigned.

We are recruiting for a Production Artist with Repro skills to join our team based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire. The role will require experience of working with the Adobe suite with a knowledge of Creative/, Artwork & Repro of packaging artworks for both Branded and Retail accounts.

Role and responsibilities

• Attends any client meetings (e.g. pre-production) as necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or repro role
• Basic computer software skills within Apple Mac equipment and operating systems, Adobe Creative, suite, Acrobat etc.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritising, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organisation,
• as well as internal and external clients.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
• Ability to work overtime as necessary
