As Production and Budget Coordinator, you will be the day-to-day contact for the smooth execution of projects within the division. Your role involves working across disciplines, establishing strong relationships, and ensuring financial processes run smoothly from brief to final delivery. Collaborating with the Finance & Operation Lead, you will ensure companywide processes are understood and adhered to, driving the production finance process and suggesting improvements. The ideal candidate has a background in financial operations management, with keen attention to detail and strategic thinking.
Mission & Responsibilities
Finance
- Oversee financial operations including estimating, forecasting, and profitability analysis
- Conduct weekly reviews with the production team on project completion
- Maintain up-to-date Project & Revenue Tracker
- Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss finance metrics against targets
- Monitor timesheet submissions and ensure weekly updates from production teams
- Redesign project burn and profitability reports using PowerBi
- Review project burn and profitability, communicating monthly status reports
- Maintain standards for financial processes as a Pulse champion
- Coordinate job reconciliation with producers and billing team for smooth job closures
- Support cash advance and credit card requests
- Act as liaison between accounting and production teams
- Serve as the point of contact for project completion and revenue accrual
Operations
- Hold weekly calls with the production team to understand ongoing projects
- Assist in resolving finance-related challenges faced by the production team
- Identify opportunities for growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency
- Help create and update ‘How to’ guides and manuals for POP UK
- Train production teams to adhere to processes
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed
- Apply critical thinking and proactive process management
- Manage budgets with a commercial focus
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
