Job summary

IFS is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to embed with customers on scheduling optimisation for Manufacturing. You will work on a .NET 10/C# backend and Angular frontend, building production AI applications and solving hard optimization problems at scale.

By translating real-world scheduling challenges into optimization models, you’ll ship customer-ready solutions, iterate quickly under ambiguity, and help shape the platform with field learnings and direct customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building and shipping production AI applications.
• Experience building AI-powered products or systems beyond merely using tools like ChatGPT / Copilot.
• Proficiency with C#/.NET and Angular frontend in enterprise-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world scheduling and planning problems into optimization models.
• Configure, extend, and debug the core scheduling engine against live datasets.
• Build and iterate on new solutions with customer teams under tight deadlines.
• Feed field learnings back to core product and engineering teams to improve the platform.
