We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Production Administrator with previous experience of working in a planning and manufacturing environment to join our clients’ well established manufacturing company based in Congleton, Cheshire. This role is offering an excellent salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits.

Our client is a family run manufacturing company and have a substantial client base, both locally, nationally, and internationally with several high-profile key customers predominantly in the automotive industry and with expansion underway into other industry sectors with a have a team of highly dedicated industry professionals with strong work ethics who take great pride in the quality of their products and are currently working towards ISO9001.

About the role
As a Production Administrator, previous experience of working in a planning and manufacturing environment is advantageous and your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify components required from Sales Orders
  • Review stock quantities and raise purchase orders where needed
  • Schedule work on the Planner according to lead times
  • Create Daily Job Cards with the production supervisor
  • Receiving and check delivery notes from Goods Inwards
  • Maintain stock levels within the factory
  • Liaise with sales department to notify of any delays/issues

About You
The ideal candidate for the role of Production Administrator must be / have:

  • Planning and Co-ordination skills
  • Manufacturing / Engineering Operations experience
  • Stock management experience would be advantageous
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to share knowledge and be open to new ideas
  • Health & Safety knowledge would be an advantageous
  • Technical Drawings (Autocad, Solidworks etc.) would be advantageous
  • Driving Licence – advantageous

About the rewards
In the role ofProduction Administrator, you will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week and the benefits include:

  • A salary of £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
  • 40 working hours per week (Mon - Thurs 7.30 - 4.30 / Fri - 7.30 – 3.00).
  • Paid holiday - 4 weeks plus 8 days statutory holiday
