Job description

Summary: Are you skilled with project systems and passionate about keeping work organized and efficient? We are looking for a Product Specialist & Reporting Analyst to join our Transformation Management Office, the central team responsible for delivering key projects and improving how our business operates. In this role, you will be our internal expert for Wrike, our project management platform. You will manage the system setup, help teams adopt it successfully, and ensure our project data is accurate, consistent, and easy to access across the entire organization. Your work will directly support our leadership team. Without clear visibility, project updates fall behind and key decisions become difficult to make. By maintaining reliable data and delivering straightforward, high-level reports, you will provide senior managers with the clear insights they need to guide investments and keep projects on schedule.

Main responsibilities
Platform Management & Development

Configure and maintain the Wrike PPM platform, establishing standardised project structures and workflows to ensure the system evolves with business requirements. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Wrike integrations (e.g., APIs, Jira, Workday Finance) to ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability across business systems. Evaluate market trends and supplementary feature releases, advising on how to leverage new functionality to maximise the organisation's software investment and programme delivery. Work closely with PMO analysts to drive continuous improvements to the platform.

User Adoption, Training & Stakeholder Engagement

Manage Wrike account/licences and coordinate onboarding for new users. Deliver targeted mentoring and training sessions to the PPM community to drive tool adoption, user competence, and data entry consistency. Partner with L&D to ensure training materials are current and that users are onboarded effectively. Collaborate with communications professionals to develop and distribute updates regarding new releases and changes within Wrike. Partner with other business teams to review their specific Wrike requirements and manage onboarding from an administrative perspective. Translate project team requirements into practical Wrike configurations and implementation plans to ensure seamless tracking and user alignment.

Reporting & Data Governance

Manage and execute weekly and monthly TMO reporting cycles, ensuring the timely aggregation of portfolio data for governance board deadlines. Analyse and challenge submitted project data and RAG statuses to validate information integrity, ensuring leadership has an accurate, unbiased reflection of portfolio health. Build and track a robust historical trend database to contextualise performance fluctuations and prevent unnecessary stakeholder escalations. Synthesise complex data sets into clear highlight reports and executive dashboards to provide actionable performance commentary for senior leadership. Investigate and trigger exception reports when critical project deviations occur to flag at‑risk initiatives, allowing for immediate corrective intervention.

You’ll need
  • A professional project management certification such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PRINCE2 Foundation or P3O Foundation.
  • It would be desired that the successful candidate has certified Wrike Product Certification (or equivalent demonstrable expert‑level training with Wrike or a similar PPM Tool).
  • A solid understanding of project management principles (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile) combined with deep technical proficiency in the Wrike PPM platform (custom workflows, request forms and blueprints).
  • The ability to create dashboards, collect, analyse, interpret and report on complex project data using Wrike reporting features. Crucial for quality assurance on reports, maintaining accurate historical trend data and ensuring data integrity across the portfolio.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to present data clearly, interact with various team members and confidently challenge project managers on data quality and RAG statuses.
  • The capacity to identify anomalies or deviations in project data/processes, trigger exception reports and suggest proactive solutions.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage a strict weekly/monthly reporting calendar, coordinate contributor timelines and meet all governance deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a PMO/TMO or similar governance environment, with a strong focus on project support, data management and quality assurance.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing and configuring Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools—specifically Wrike—to manage project data and support project teams.
  • Experience managing regular reporting cycles, including gathering data from multiple sources and upwardly aggregating it for senior governance boards.
  • Experience delivering user training, coaching, or mentoring to technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive software and process adoption.
  • Employees are required to be flexible and to be prepared to perform duties and other tasks within their capabilities. The nature of our business is such that the contents of any job profile are subject to change from time to time.
  • We recognise creativity comes from diversity not similarity. That’s why we are enthusiastic about creating inclusion across age, race, gender, ethnicity, religion and identity. You will experience our dedication to equal opportunities and fair treatment for all: through your recruitment, employment and career progression with South East Water.
Benefits package
  • Excellent Stakeholder pension scheme, up to 10% employer contribution.
  • 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays per annum, increasing to 6 weeks with length of service.
  • Flexible annual leave policy to buy or sell holiday leave.
  • Paid volunteering days.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Health cash plan.
  • Life assurance.
  • Wellbeing related benefits.
Compensation package

£58,500 p.a. (dependent on experience)
