Job description

We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our Liberty Blume team in Bradford (BD4(. This hybrid position requires at least two days per week in the office.

As a Product Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving new customer engagement throughout the pre-sales phase and beyond for our suite of products. Collaborating closely with the VP of Central Transformation, Sales, Development teams, and prospective clients, you will serve as the go-to product expert. Your role will involve showcasing the value and capabilities of our solutions, aligning them with customer needs, and delivering compelling product demonstrations. You’ll also address technical and functional questions with confidence, helping to convert interest into successful sales. This position acts as a vital link between product development and customer acquisition, ensuring that prospects receive the insights and support they need at the earliest stages of their journey.

What will you be doing?

  • Design and deliver engaging, tailored product demonstrations that showcase key features, benefits, and value propositions aligned with each prospect’s unique needs and use cases.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads to customise demo environments and scenarios that directly address specific customer challenges and requirements.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product suite and roadmap to accurately represent both current functionality and upcoming capabilities.
  • Act as the primary resource for product-related inquiries from prospective customers and the Sales team throughout the pre-sales process.
  • Clearly articulate technical features, functionalities, and integrations, drawing on established designs and architectural frameworks.
  • Effectively manage and respond to technical objections, partnering with development teams to ensure a thorough understanding of product requirements.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients during pre-sales engagements, fostering trust and credibility.
  • Support ongoing customer conversations by identifying and promoting upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering strategic product insights and recommendations.
  • Assist the Sales team in instilling customer confidence and driving deals to successful closure

We tend to look for people with:

Essential

  • Experience in a product-focused environment.
  • Solid understanding of product development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines for software products.
  • Awareness of UX/UI design principles with a strong user-centric mindset.
  • Good technical knowledge of deployment and integration technologies.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including their practical applications in software products.
