UTA seeks a Security Engineer - Product Security to help embed security into the design, development, and operation of our products and platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to design and implement security controls across our applications and services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering or product security.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and practical prevention/remediation at scale.
• Experience securing applications and services in at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of SAST/DAST/SCA and integrating these into CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement product security requirements and roadmaps across multiple teams.
• Lead threat modeling workshops and drive mitigations into product design.
• Review security across AWS, Azure, and GCP and implement secure design controls.
• Drive automated security checks in CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning).
• Coordinate application security testing with development teams and remediation efforts.
• Establish and evangelize secure coding standards and reusable patterns.
