Job summary

United Talent Agency seeks a Security Engineer – Product Security to embed security into design, development, and operation of our products and platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to design and implement controls across applications and services, safeguarding our brand, people, and digital assets.

You are passionate about building secure products from the ground up and enjoy working at the intersection of software development and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or product-aligned security roles.
Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and practical experience preventing/remediating them at scale.
Experience securing applications and services in at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
Knowledge of security tooling (SAST/DAST/SCA) and integrating these into CI/CD workflows.
Familiarity with secure deployment practices, including IaC (Terraform) review and secrets management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior partners.

Responsibilities

Design and implement security controls across applications and services.
Partner with product and engineering to define security requirements and roadmaps.
Conduct threat modeling workshops and drive mitigations into design.
Lead security reviews for cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
Mature the secure development lifecycle and promote secure coding practices.
Drive automated security checks in CI/CD pipelines and coordinate testing efforts.
