Job summary

SEA seeks a Product Safety Engineer to ensure safety across our products, systems, and solutions. You will identify hazards, assess risks, and define proportionate safety measures throughout design, manufacture, and operation.

You will develop and maintain hazard logs, safety plans, and safety cases, working with multiple teams to verify safety requirements and support certification processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety engineering for engineered products and systems.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to produce and review safety documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support product safety activities across the engineering lifecycle.
• Identify hazards and assess safety risks; define reduction measures.
• Develop and maintain safety documentation (hazard logs, safety plans, safety cases).
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure safety requirements are met.
• Support verification, certification, and compliance activities; prepare technical files.
• Provide safety advice to project teams and stakeholders.
