Responsibilities

• Produce documentation to support Safety and Environmental Cases (SEC).
• Create and maintain product hazard logs.
• Conduct safety reviews of designs against safety and environmental management frameworks.
• Provide advice and guidance on product safety during bids and projects.
• Apply hazard identification, analysis, and risk assessment techniques.

Skills

Knowledge of engineering lifecycle management

Experience deriving and setting safety criteria and requirements

Familiarity with relevant defence or safety standards

Proven ability to produce high-quality technical safety reports
