Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Limited seeks a Product Quality Assurance Engineer for a 6 month contract based in Stevenage. The role focuses on quality within Manufacturing, audits, and process improvements to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will support cost, time, and quality targets, provide QA training, and interface with customer representatives as needed. SAP navigation for non-conformance will be utilized.

Qualifications

• Quality professional with experience in process-based integrated management systems and continuous improvement.
• Experience using risk management and problem-solving tools (8D, 5Y, PFMEA).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Quality auditing experience and EN9100/AS9100 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional quality support and advice across Manufacturing to support business excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Apply quality expertise to critical issues and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Deliver quality assurance training and awareness programs for Manufacturing teams.
• Support programmes to meet cost, time, and quality targets and assess quality processes and outputs.
• Conduct independent assessments and audits to ensure processes meet requirements and drive timely closure of issues.
• Produce management reports on audit outcomes and recommended improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Assurance Managers and other functions to implement risk-reduction plans.

Job description

Product Quality Assurance Engineer 6 month contract Based in Stevenage Offering £35ph Inside IR35 Do you have Quality Auditing experience? Do you have an understanding of AS9102 and AS9100/EN9100 standards? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company?

You will be involved in:

• Provision of professional support and advice on all aspects of quality within Manufacturing
• apply quality expertise to critical business issues to support business excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction
• Provision of quality assurance assistance to Manufacturing in support of manufacturing excellence including development and delivery of quality awareness and other process and quality-related training
• Supporting Manufacturing on all programmes to achieve cost, time, and quality targets
• Assessing and controlling the product assurance quality processes and the resulting outputs
• Confirm through a programme of Independent assessments and audits that processes and quality requirements are being successfully implemented, applied, and improved
• Provide reports to Management that identifies the outcome of audits and issues
• Monitor and facilitate the progression of any improvements from audit activities and the timely closure of identified issues
• Maintaining strong links with Quality Assurance colleagues across the business to enable the dissemination and achievement of Quality Objectives within Manufacturing
• Work with Product Assurance Managers and other functions to define appropriate risk reduction strategies/action plans
• Support the development and implementation of the Process Effectiveness Review Programmes
• Interface with Customer Representatives (DQAFF), when required, to support the mitigation of quality issues
• Provide advice and help in the use of SAP as the non-conformance management tool, and identify SAP improvement with respect to the Quality Module
• Facilitation and/or support to various levels of Non-Conformance Review Panel
• Analysis of non-conformance defect data and acting on this data to undertake problem-solving investigations identifying defect root cause and corrective action implementation

Your skillset may include:

• Quality professional, experienced in process-based integrated management systems & business improvement in an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Experience using both risk management and practical problem-solving tools e.g. 8D, 5Y, PFMEA etc.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
• Quality Auditing experience
• Extensive knowledge and experience of EN9100/AS9100
• Capability to identify sustainable business improvements & ensure effective implementation
• Recognise and understand internal and external customer requirements, and respond to them
• Recognise and understand regulatory and certification requirements, and respond to them
• Understanding of AS9102 - First Article Inspection Requirements
