Responsibilities
- Developing and owning the SASE strategy in terms of market segments to serve, vendors in the portfolio, and the associated propositions.
- Defining the integrated SASE customer experience for single vendor and multi-vendor solutions.
- Developing a best-in-class SASE proposition that clearly differentiates BT in the market and adds value to the customer.
- Owning the SASE roadmap for the One Business technology stack to ensure that the security portfolio is taking advantage of operational efficiencies and automation.
- Ensuring that the One Business service catalogue components meet the needs of SASE customers.
- Owning the relationship with the Embedded Security team to ensure complete alignment when SSE is embedded into connectivity products.
- Ensuring consistent value, features, and customer experience across different vendors by becoming the security SASE subject matter expert.
Experience needed to be successful in the role
- Previous experience owning the end-to-end product lifecycle of managed service product launches from concept to market in the UK B2B market, involving idea generation, business case approval, and development through to market launch using agile methodologies.
- A strong understanding of the UK SDWAN, SSE, and SASE markets for mid-sized customers, MNCs, and the Public Sector—preferably with Cisco-specific experience.
- Extensive experience engaging and influencing stakeholders both externally (customers) and internally at the highest levels (C-suite/Director level).
- Proven ability to define visions for new and existing portfolio products, focusing on growth and innovation within competitive markets.
- Experience creating compelling propositions based on customer and market needs.
- Ability to translate customer and market demand into product development decisions, requirements, and user stories.
- Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen, capable of developing and presenting business cases, pricing strategies, and leading vendor negotiations.
- Knowledge of processes underpinning customer service delivery to ensure quick and cost-effective product/service delivery.
