SASE is where Networks (SDWAN) and Security (SSE) come together to provide customers with a secure network. The SASE market is growing at 25% year on year andincreasingly customers want to buy networking and security together.

A key part of this role is to work across the SASE portfolio to develop a market driven SASE strategy, to define an excellent and differentiated customer experience which is implemented across the portfolio and to ensure it is delivered effectively on One Business.

What you’ll be doing
  • Developing and owning the SASE strategy in terms of market segments to serve, vendors in the portfolio and the associated propositions.
  • Defining the integrated SASE customer experience for single vendor and multi-vendor solutions.
  • Developing a best-in-class SASE proposition that clearly differentiates BT in the market and adds value to the customer.
  • Owning the SASE roadmap for the One Business technology stack to ensure that the security portfolio is taking advantage of the operational efficiencies and automation
  • Ensuring that the One Business service catalogue components meet the needs of SASE customers.
  • Owning the relationship with the Embedded Security team to ensure complete alignment when SSE is embedded into connectivity products.
  • Ensuring we offer consistent value, features and customer experience across different vendors by becoming the security SASE subject matter expert.
Experience needed to be successful in the role:
  • Previous experience owning the end-to-end product lifecycle of managed service product launches from concept to market in the UK B2B market. This involves idea generation, business case approval and then development through to market launch using agile methodologies.
  • A strong understanding of the UK SDWAN, SSE and SASE markets for mid-sized customers, MNC’s and Public Sector – preferrable to have Cisco specific experience.
  • Extensive experience of engaging and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders both externally (Customers) and internally at the highest level (C suite/Director Level).
  • Proven ability to define the visions for both new and existing portfolio products with a focus on growth and innovation within competitive markets.
  • Experience creating compelling propositions based on specific customer and market needs.
  • Proven ability to translate customer and market demand into product development decisions, requirements and user stories .
  • Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen with the ability to develop and present a business case, pricing strategy and lead vendor contract and commercial negotiations.
  • Knowledge of the processes that underpin customer service delivery to ensure product/service can be delivered both quickly and cost effectively.

  • Annual on target bonus 15% (personal and company performance multipliers).
