Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a passionate Software Product Owner to join our Public Safety product team. You will shape the product vision for the Control Room portfolio, work with customers and internal teams to prioritise requirements, and craft clear features with acceptance criteria.

You will participate in sprint planning, maintain the roadmap, perform market research, and coordinate releases to ensure value delivery. Experience with agile methods and enterprise software is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar analytical role in software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Experience with agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale applications and public sector contexts.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the product vision and strategy for the Control Room portfolio.
• Collaborate with product managers, customers, sales and development teams to prioritise requirements.
• Write clear features with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in sprint planning and maintain the product roadmap.
• Conduct market research and assist with competitive analysis.
• Coordinate releases and communicate with stakeholders.
