Job summary

Heysham Port Ltd in Liverpool is seeking a results-driven Product Owner to lead technology-focused product areas across the full lifecycle, ensuring business needs are understood and prioritized.

You will oversee delivery, guide capability improvements, define KPIs and work with IT teams and suppliers to assess feasibility and value while aligning with operational goals. Current solutions include TO systems, RTLS, AutoGates and Crane Ops, with travel to Peel Ports terminals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or IT Business Partner with accountability for product performance and value delivery.
• Ability to define vision, roadmaps, priorities and value outcomes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Understanding of product delivery lifecycles, agile or iterative delivery, backlog management and transition into service.
• Strong analytical, governance and communication skills, with the ability to challenge demand and balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technology-facing representative for your product area, ensuring business needs are understood and reflected in decisions.
• Oversee product delivery and transition into service, aligning with operational requirements and strategic objectives.
• Define clear KPIs and use insights to guide prioritisation and continuous improvement.
